Why have our tool downers thrown, McKenna under the bus already, Im guessing it would only be a case of when rather than if knowing the reputation that some of our players appear to have gained for destroying Manager's career's@our club

I fear you could be proved 100% right & if McKeena has any sense he will tell his agent that he wants to do at least another couple of years@Ipswich for the very reason that you have rightly given & he should also turn Chelsea down aswell for exactly the same reason's.

It’s ridiculously disrespectful. Talking like it’s a vacant position. You’ve got journalists asking him out right about it maybe being his last game. In a cup final pre match presser

Good on McKenna for what he’s done with Ipswich, but come on - no chance. As sparky says, it’ll eat him alive.

Gordon is right too. The usual suspects threw McKenna, as part of Ole’s team, under the bus a couple of years ago, as they’ve also tried to do with Ten Hag. And they’ll do it again.

I like McKenna, not least for his family’s hotel accommodation in enniskillen which is top notch, but he should stay at Ipswich for the next couple of years and get more experience. If he is a proper good one, he can have the United job once the task of getting rid of the malingerers in our squad is done.

My thoughts exactly, as we have witneesed Managers with reputations for delivering the good's end-up lookng like they are totely broken & practicly relived to recive the sack when it has come!

If he's not got the balls to do the job now, he won't in however many seasons some expect him to wait. If he gets the chance, he'd be a fool to turn it down.

Don’t disagree. Just don’t think it would be a good idea for either him or United right now.

Mou was a huge fan when he was here iirc.

Mourinho in as DOF with McKenna as head coach sounds like it could be the way to go.

He may as well give it a go.

The players will have him out within 18 months but the chance might not come around again.

Think he would be better off going to Brighton as the jump from Ipswich to Utd is absolutely enormous and feel going there is better

McKenna would be so grateful for the job that he’d be unlikely to push back on the Glazers/Ratcliffe.

Perfect for them and he gets a shot at a club that’s so rotten he only needs a top 6 finish to look good.

Win/win.

If INEOS don't get to the bottom of who the bad eggs are in our dressing room and get serious about getting rid, then it doesn't matter who takes over. They will ruin an Ancelotti just as readily as a McKenna.

Players with immature character, earning 15 million quid a year and an entourage of 20 people competing for their ear will do what they want to, never accept criticism and never listen to ANY manager.

this.

unless they're serious about changing the dressing room culture and the type of person we're bringing into the side, then whoever they employ will end up the same as all the others.
