Default San Siro to be demolished

New stadium to be built in its place, ready by 2027.

End of an era.

As iconic as it is, it's a £#%&!ing shithole - I don't think I've ever had to stand in quite so much piss in one place before (I mean, it was the toilets but still - rancid).

New one looks mint to me.

The people in it will likely still piss on the floor only the new one tbf.

Old Trafford the next iconic stadium to be flattened?

As claustrophobic as nutty-putty cave tbf, but a shame to lose all that history.

Been 6 times, seen us win once.

Atmosphere for the 1-1 v Inter in 1999 was incredible

Was there a few months ago and really rated it. Met some lovely people out there, too.

My first Euro away was in that shithole. Pissed down with rain and we got stuffed 3-0

Fond memories...

Farewell sweet prince...

I was always frustrated by the 0-0 in 2009(?), we played Inter off the park and Carrick was superb, should’ve been a sweet 3 or 4-0 for us, we just couldn’t score

Seedorf and Kaka slapping us aside in 2006 when we were clearly the better side, but knackered and decimated by injuries hurt

Burning their flag wasn't the greatest idea, also plug holes to drain piss away....

2007

we’d have slaughtered Liverpool in the final too that year. Huge opportunity missed.

Not a chance.

We were on our arse by the end of that season as shown in the Cup Final.

Liverpool were resting players towards the end and were favourites.

In a perverse way I was glad we didn't meet them in that final. It would have been torture as they were at peak gobshite levels back then. The love they had for FSW was sickening.

Iconic. I went in '05, we lost 1 nil.

Looking up outside before the game, wow.

It's a shame it's going but I'm all for new stadiums. We need one.
