Football Antony, Lisandro and Timber not for sale…

At least for anything like a reasonable price..

Hope we’ve got some other ideas as we’re quickly getting priced and squeezed out of the market.

My fault guys. Sorry but Glazers out!

Think we'll still get Antony but pay stupid money.

Because they’ve sold three players already. It’s his old club and we’ve dithered as usual and now Ajax are more reluctant to sell. We like to ‘consider’ and ‘prepare’ and tell everyone how relaxed we are and how he’s were working….only to end up panicking or getting priced out at the end of the window.

We seemingly make absolutely every transfer as difficult as possible. Timber, Antony, Martinez all available for reasonable money, from a club we have a good relationship and whose former manager has been here a month. Relatively simple deals. Liverpool have taken Benfica’s star player with minimal fuss. City have signed two. Spurs two. Bayern are rattling off signings with their usual efficiency. All clubs in much better shape than us.

And here we are.

Stupid money for Antony and de Jong leaves us in rather a predicament. Certainly tests Richie’s assertion that the money is there for whatever the manager and DoF want..

Good job in wasting so much time on the de Jong transfer allowing Ajax to sell a couple of players meaning they’re reluctant in selling anyone else.

Well done United.

Reckon De Jong and possibly Eriksen and that us done.

I think there’s license for us to go for midfield and attack because that’s where most of the departures are from. I can’t see us signing a defender
Unless we sell at least one player, which we might not even do. And we won’t
Move for them if we do.

And we do seem incapable of doing more than one deal at a time, which only adds a greater sense of urgency to the de Jong deal.

That Anthony fella doesn't look like a player we need at all. The other two would be good signings.

Won't lose sleep if none come.

would be good to have a manager who can see beyond players he's managed recently.

Not sure these are players we should be desperate to sign

Really I’m not a fan of signing players from the club your new manager came from especially if you wouldn’t be interested in them otherwise

Haven’t watched much of any of those 3 players but I’m sure we can get just as good if not better for less elsewhere assuming our scouting department is compentent…

No probs, Antony can be gotten later.

Our priority gotta be the midfield and the back.

End up with FDJ, Eriksen, Torres, Malacia and maybe a striker if Martial is sold would be a solid window.

1 decent midfielder plus a striker.

Anything more would be a bonus.

I’ll be stunned if we sign five players (not including kids or third choice keepers)

I doubt there's even a parallel universe in which that happens.
