Sounds like City have lost Laporte too?

They’ll be bringing Stuart Pearce out of retirement before long.

Scousers must be :seething:
Best side they’ve had since the 80s and one of the best they’ve ever had but looks like the only title they’ll have won was in front of no fans

They couldn’t even sing about being champions as by the time fans were allowed back in stadiums they weren’t champions anymore

Made the point earlier, but this is exactly why I don’t want them near the league.

Periods of being on top don’t last long and it looks like another season of being pipped, when any other time they’d have won it. 90 points isn’t going to be enough. That’s quite rare.

This is their time and it’s not even their time 👍

Putting aside what a wretched entity they are, from a footballing perspective City are like a well oiled machine at times in this league.

They've got liverpool breathing down their necks and they just turn up and score 9 goals in 2 games.

It's mad. When i think of title run ins we used to have, they were fraught with nerves, we'd drop silly points along the way, teams would run us hard.

Now it seems like the league can barely lay a glove on City and Liverpool. That's doesn't say much for our league tbh.

Periods of being on top don’t last long he says, as City all but claim their 4th title in 5 years. Something nobody other than us has done in the last 35 years.

5 years isn’t long. Kinda the point, mate. They’re making the most of it. Liverpool aren’t.

Much less competitive. In the 2000s , Arsenal had Henry/van persie. Chelsea had drogba scousers had Torres , United had Rooney .even spurs had the likes of berbatov/Defoe . The first 5 could walk into any team in the current league. All 7 would walk into any team 3rd and down in the prem

Compared to know outside of scousers and city no other team ( bar ronaldo) has a player you can say in 10 years time people will be speaking about him .

As good as Kane is I don’t think he gets Infront of van nistelrooy , Rooney, Henry, drogba, can persie etc etc

Think it’s fair to say that goal difference won’t be an issue for city

Even if West Ham beat them at the weekend City will still win it
