Still think Rice has a bit of the Eric Dier’s about him and will end up a defender, but
Still not entirely sold on him, but I see the appeal and he’s the type we need. If he was foreign playing aboard, he’d cost £30-40m.

It’s a crazy price tag, but no unexpected.

As much as anything, it shows that Ole is fully aware of what we are and what we need, and he isn’t willing to compromise on it. That’s a good sign.

The glazers ofcourse are too shortsighted to see that he’ll likely cost even more next summer.

Said it elsewhere, just hoping someone else comes to the attention of the scouts/Ole who proves a better option. I think they’ll be wanting to use the budget on Haaland next summer rather than Rice.

Don't know what to make of Rice tbh, if Ole wants someone to just sit in midfield, & keep it simple, fair enough, maybe he is the one to go for.

For £100m I want a 23 year old Bryan £#%&!ing Robson with an injury free future ahead of him.

Another away win and the unbeaten record keeps on going. Quite a few people have said we aren't playing well on the road and yet we're not getting turned over. There's a lot of improvement for this team to make so if we're ticking away at this record without looking totally convincing it is exciting to think how things will transpire once we become dominant from start to finish.

Ole doesn't have the CV of Van Gaal or Mourinho but he's done more to implement a resillient mentality than either of them.

Thumbs up

Lingard sub turned out to be inspired. Fair play.

Nice ball from Matic too, who was sent on because he can do that better than Fred.

I wouldn’t play Fred over Matic ever.

I wouldn’t at the moment. Fred is particularly bad right now and CAN play better than this. He isn’t talented enough to not be reliable. Right now, he’s causing more harm than good. I’d be playing Matic and The Scottish Player in that two. There will be plenty of games for Fred to work his way back in. He’s a liability as it stands though.

Jesus. Get outside for a bit or something instead of rocking back and forth about how a game might have turned out. Especially a game we should have been 4 or 5 up in

Thoughts with Ryan.

Looks like it had the desired effect and you felt patronised into responding.

He really could do with a trophy to hide this shit on a stick football no?
