yeah it's pretty shit that we're suddenly now eating city's dust after all the excitement and hope we had, but the fact we're in this position at this stage of the season, rather than floundering between 4th and 8th as we usually do, and feeling gutted that we might now only finish 2nd to a pep side with a lot of experienced title winners in it, shows that progress has still been made.

al things considered it's been a pretty good season for us, but we need to build on this progress in the summer.

based on the lineup Ole selected for the match today, he's taking this seriously

rashford, bruno, greenwood, fred, scott, awb, maguire and bailly are all starting

james, henderson, telles are the only non regulars

i really don't get it especially with having a game on Sunday....mata should be in there for Bruno and Martial should be in there for Rashford

Thing is, that is arguably true of literally *every* team in this league with just a single exception.

I wonder if because we were all whispering, some people heard[SIZE="1"] "Premier League", when we were actually saying [SIZE="1"]"Europa League"?

enjoyed that run of ours in 2016/17.

2nd place finish and a european trophy wouldn't be too bad of a season tbh.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his side can continue to grow as we begin to move into the latter months of the season.

UNITED'S NEXT FOUR LEAGUE FIXTURES

Sun 28 Feb, 16:30 GMT: Chelsea (A), Premier League

Weds 3 March, 20:15 GMT: Crystal Palace (A), Premier League

Sun 7 March, 16:30 GMT: Manchester City (A), Premier League

Sat 13 March, 14:15 GMT: West Ham (H), Premier League

f***ing massive four matches right there and all going to be very difficult...you have a probably league decider against City and two top 4 challenges with Chelsea and West Ham

The league is gone. Chelsea will no doubt raise their game but we tend to do well against teams that attack as we play on the counter. Palace , who knows what united turn up against the cannon fodder and we should be ok vs West Ham.

Got a feeling we will draw to Chelsea beat palace , lose to city and beat West Ham

Be gobsmacked if we pulled that off.

Think there is a genuine danger we don't make top 4 if the other sides step up.

So all the other inconsistent sides below us are gonna step it up whilst Ole's tricky Reds who've lost 4 games in a year are gonna falter are they?
