Heart says yes, head says no.
He showed for a while last season that he can get this team working but his decision making is still baffling. Yes, squad depth, glazers, etc., but still after all this time I have no idea what kind of game he wants the team. His stubbornness with the formation and his bizarre team picks and subs is not encouraging. He plays Pogba when he is half fit, plays him when he is out of form (always). It's baffling. |

Besides, it's not just moments and individual errors. We are wide open down our right side constantly. There are huge gaps between our midfield and defence. We're are incredibly easy to play around and get behind. We've conceded 11 in 3. Brighton had about 20 shots on our goal and hit the woodwork four times. It's not just individual errors, but we look otherwise defensively sound. The team defends poorly from front to back. That's on the Coaching staff. |

and sending the fullbacks up the pitch (where they are useless), so there is no cover at the back isn't tactics/set-up? and having the defence try to pass out from the back isn't tactics/set-up? |

Yeah mate, it's just this forum. Getting @#%&!ted 6-1 at home by spurs, what's everyone fussing about, eh? if only us mere mortals had your worldly grasp on everything eh? |

Really want him to succeed, up until recently I have enjoyed watching us play again.
He needs to stop persisting with this playing it out of the back though as we are becoming our own worse enemies and creating our own problems. The Pogba thing is baffling as well, since they came back from lockdown the midfield has gone from one with energy, closing down players to a lacklustre undisciplined one, Pogba doesn't track his man and comes across as being lazy which spreads throughout the team - Ole needs to get him out of the side and get more energy and discipline in there. What do Carrick, Mckenna and shorts bring to the party ? maybe instead of getting rid of Ole we should be looking at some of the coaching staff As I said would love him to be a success but without help I think he may well struggle |

Either play the players and work to their strengths or stick a vision and get players who can execute it. We simply aren’t good enough to play out of the back... for example. |

as for having the defense pass out from the back....you can just lump it up field and we can just go back to playing 70's and 80's style football of just kicking it long. Hell Bailly could have just gone long once he delayed playing the initial pass which allowed spurs to really squeeze the space so it was more about poor decision making then again a tactical issue. Agreed Ed....their third was a disgrace and shouldn't happen at this level where you are giving the ball away on a pass into your own box |

ole trusts certain players too much, he needs to sort that out quickly. Also be open to change the formation, the current formation is not working for whatever reason.
Pogba is out of form and bruno looks so tired. He has failed at mixing the squad up, fergie always did a great job of rotating the line up keeping players sharp and also having players on form start. Ole seems to have £#%&! all trust outside of that starting 11 which is even more worrying but can you argue with him? |
