True, like someone else said if this had been the last signing after a summer of vdb, sancho and (arguments sake) telles it would probably be seen as quite good.

But it's not. If cavani was even remotely near the top of any list he'd have been signed weeks ago. He wasn't so i think it's fair that this is seen as a last minute deal to give ole 'something'

It would accomplish nothing but he'd be well within his rights to walk. He's being treated like a @#%&!.
