Latest ‘news’: €70m now + €30m in 2021 + €20m in 2022 (£108m in total in real money).

Edit: €30m next year not €20m. Thanks Scar. Tbf I’m well into a second large whiskey

http://sportwitness.co.uk/germany-ma...itial-payment/

Bild have an update on Sunday evening and they report Manchester United want to pay in instalments. As they say, this is a completely normal plan for big transfers.

The German newspaper explain their information has come from English sources, however, this is unlikely to be from the media in England, as they would simply say so otherwise.

According to the claims, Manchester United’s ‘poker’ for Sancho is ‘picking up speed’. The Premier League club would look to pay €70m, with two further payments of €30m and €20m in the ‘next few years’.

Encouragingly, Bild say Dortmund ‘would not say no’ to a deal worth €120m, regardless of how it’s ‘scraped together’.

Our ideas of 'kicking the £#%&! out of' must be quite different.

because when i think of a player getting the shit kicked out of them i think of what Ronaldo got every week 16 years ago. I think of what we did to Reyes at Arsenal.

These days Fernandinho's sly trips and pushes don't quite compare.

70m up front with the rest in two installments isn't a terrible option b/c we won't have to blow a massive portion of our budget on one player this summer and it wouldn't impact our budget in 21 and 22

you sell sanchez for 13m and a few of these other deadweights and that could almost cover half of his upfront money

Sounds like this story with Gabriel Magalhaes has some legs so could be the defender spot sorted. Never seen him play but if Ole like him, good enough for me.
