I can’t stress this enough but the footballing landscape has changed. I don’t think there is a manager out there who will come until next Summer at the earliest. Some will say they’ll come for the money; we aren’t special in that regard any more, plenty of clubs are cash rich and besides, I wouldn’t want a manager coming here just for the payday. Most level headed people are saying the same thing, so far as I can see. We aren’t seeing great results on the pitch, but the new signings all seem to be doing well (comparatively speaking). No manager is coming in and getting us to suddenly be playing consistently good football, not with those players. If LVG and Mourinho, two managers with wildly different styles, couldn’t get them playing great football, I can’t see anyone else managing it with an even more depleted and inexperienced squad. |

Mou wasn't getting the most out of the players they said. Now we're being told not to expect any better than absolute shite. From a lot of the same people. Not cool poo poohing. |

It will be the dressing room dynamics that make us look badly coached and until people are patient enough to give a manager time to change that, (or enough time where we can say for sure they have failed to change that), we’ll continue to look badly coached regardless of manager or coaching staff. The dressing room had similar problems when fergie took over in 86. Were he and his staff shit at coaching between 86-91 or was it a case of sorting out the dressing room before it could be reflected in the performances? This isn’t a computer game. Quote:

It’s a shit competition - It's an incredibly difficult and arduous competition. Not shit We are playing our kids and reserves - We are. But the 'senior' players aren't stepping up Mourinho is bad bad bad - Sure, I guess Rashford is going through things off the pitch - Look at Courtois and how players cope under pressure. This is transition - It is. Only a @#%&! would think otherwise. |

If the owners and woodward are on board with ole’s plans and understand it will take time to implement, particularly if they fail to sell or buy everyone he wants to when he wants to, then ole should be ok this season so long as he avoids the disasters of relegation and losing the dressing room. Barring those disasters, if the club pull the trigger before Christmas 2020, then they’re not fit to run the football club and it doesn’t matter who they employ as the fans will never be getting what they want.
