They've always been about numbers.

They couldn't wait to play the 'most successful club in england' card again this week.

For us, or any normal person, that would be a side stat, something that you might notice a bit further down the line... not for them, they had it poised. Usually in the form of some cringey meme with Klopp as some old enrgaver carving their name into this tin pot trophy.

When they were top dogs, all we heard was '18 + 4', forever in our shadow, come back when you've won 18 etc.

Since we overtook them, it was all about some vague, high road %@#$&!s about 'this means more' and other such you-wouldn't-get-it-you're-not-scouse holier-than-thou shite.

The second, the absolute SECOND they get their hands on some £#%&!y little trophy they can count as a 'major', they are straight back to numbers again.

42, 43... does this one count.. does it not?

Who cares?

We don't even know the number ffs. And if its 43-42, who is honestly arsed about the disparity that small over a number that high.

They'll pick whatever angle suits them at any given time to be superior.

They're already full of Billy Big %@#$&!s mentality this season with shouts about how teams are raising their game against them and how they're the most hated club in the country.

If you are, it's because you're unbareable creeps, not because of your success in a knock out cup, you weird @#%&!s!

Every club's fans are biased, but these guys take a lack of self-awareness to a whole new level.

It's why I'll always hate them the most and why any team winning is better than them winning.

Horrible, weird @#%&!s.

Given how they performed in the opening game, I'm not holding my breath.
