I know a few Jawdies on the verge of a full on meltdown, this signing and Brucie coming in could tip them right over the edge so for that reason lets get it done

No surprise. He's a good player I've seen him eight times.

Looks like Woody’s been briefing the press again...

Loads of them running with the headline that we're going to walk away because Newcastle are asking for 50m.

9 PL first team games, their best player goes for £30million. Is £50million the new 'starting point'? £#%&! me. Someone hit the reset button.

The hydraulically operated swing bridge is a decent bit of kit tbh. But don't tell them I said that.

And rightly so. The cheeky @#%&!s sell their best player for £30m and have the cheek to ask for £50m for this handsome devil? £#%&! em.

£50m for a lad who has played EIGHT games for Newcastle?

Has he really made that much of an impact for us to even bid £30m for him?

Some on here are saying he is the next Carrick. After EIGHT games. Why? Does he pass the ball sideways?

Jesus christ.

£#%&! football.

This.

Hopefully the kid kicks up a fuss and pushes it on. Shitty way of doing business, but so is asking £50m for a kid who has played 9 games.

The road to the top in football is rarely nickel and dimed.

Teams that pay that extra bit get deals done. Teams that's spend ages negotiating miss out.

His wages will be £#%&! all so the price doesn't really matter that much. It's the same reason we were happy to spend big on Bissakka, his wages are £80k per week.

This. £50m ffs

30 is pushing it but probably about right in this market if he is a decent prospect. Plus, Ashley is a cheeky @#%&!.
