Only United.

Amazing that everyone complains about United £#%&!ing about and "not just paying it", then when they do, it's too much.

Because we always seem to end up paying more than our rivals for the same sort of player?

Yes there is the "United tax" but its also something else that points to us not being terribly well run.

Oh look everyone, Brad Cheeseburger's here with his yearly 'soccer' post.

Thanks for that.

Now back to NFL.

3 years ago City paid around 50m for a 22 year old John Stones.

Why we bothering? He scored an own goal so is clearly shit. No footballer in the history of the game has ever been that embarrassed.

We're a joke.

Good. I'm happy about this. £#%&! the fee. He's a good young player, he's shown that in the Premier League consistently this season, one bad outing surrounded by dross last night isn't going to change that. Is there another right back with Premier League experience we could pick up for less money?

We get to replace Young with an actual right back, and one that looks half decent as well. Happy days.

Yep, all joking aside I’m looking forward to seeing how he does. Looks an absolute beast defending 1v1.

It’s United and this is Fred mate. No matter what we do, some @#%&!’s going to be slagging us off for it. You can only imagine what a Cantona thread would have looked like if the internet was around back then. “Great a Leeds reject; only United”

Thumbs up

Good stuff.

Another 5 similar signings, and £#%&!ing off half the squad from last season, and we have a good chance of top 6 again

Not our money. Needs spending correctly, though; £#%&! the price, it's about the right players and he's one of them at a standard price for that sort of player for a cash-rich club.

We've moaned about a right-back, we've got one. The "up to" £45m offer was a piss-take. We've got a great young player who also has a future value. Unless we £#%&! him up.
