Surely the bonus for playing should be larger than the basic. It could be argued that would at least provides an incentive which benefits both us and the player. Regardless of the fact I think such a bonus is stupid, the agent has taken the absolute piss out of whoever negotiated that deal for united.

We had all this with Rooney. It always seems like there's no chance of getting rid of them, but the reality is that these players profiles get them a lot of interest, regardless of how shit they are.
