The rumours were that Corluka had already signed for Spurs and City agreed etc then Hughes found out and thats where all the rumours of him quitting came from.

I think legally Spurs had a very good case and the player didnt wanna stay at Citeh, so they let him go once they bought replacements.

With City, you have to remember they're the most bizzare club. They could very well get into the top four with these sand people but typical Citeh, they'l probably go tit's up the next season.

One thing making a team in west London who's already in the champions league and was known by european players for years, into winning things......than a team who doesnt own or fill its ground, is unknown to anybody outside of the uk and is in the north of England.

They can get in the top four, win cups. No leagues or champions leagues ffs.

Yesterday's efforts got the giddiness up high, so they get to sell some more season tickets and shirts. To keep that going you maximize the hype, sign one or two galacticos a year, and otherwise keep costs down as much as possible. That's consistent with selling a good defender.
From the TV pictures shown last night they were hardly queueing round the block for tickets. There was a line of about 5 people and 3 stewards behind the hastily erected crowd control barriers.

Imo Chelsea were very lucky to even have two league titles. As the time they were bought out. Were going through transition stage. So City probably have no chance.
