that's the point, isn't it? it's not that o'shea is crap (though he often is). it's that we all see his continued presence as stopping many young lads from getting the chances we'd like to see them get. if phil neville was still around would fletcher have improved so much last season? would anderson have got so many starts?

I have done my sums and we are actually getting him for less than Spurs paid for him if O'Shea is part of the deal.

A lot of people are questioning Ramos now that Spurs are short of central defenders and strikers. For his part, he has said the decision to sell Keane and Defoe was the decision of the board

Spurs fans blaiming Ramos is silly imo.

The board are the ones to blame, they've been making decisions without the managers consent for years now.

Defoe went because he was demanding a wage structure busting 75K a week from Spurs.

But he was desperate to stay of course.
