Default First United match

Luton Town '89. Won 2-0 in front of 35,665. Ticket was £3.50 in the old F stand.

Crazy to think that we're now getting over twice as many through the turnstiles and paying ten times the price.

E stand seems popular.

I was never allowed on the Stret cause I was far too small. Did a Pete Doherty though and shot up in my teens.

Popular cos it was cheap to get in and it still served ale after it was banned from sale in standing areas.

Only went in the family stand once as a kid, it was a treat for by birthday [used to stand on the stretty]. Everton at home in the cup 1988, think Norman scored pretty sure choccy did, anyway the one thing that sticks in my mind about this above all else was the panini swap shop!
Mithered the £#%&! out of me Dad for about 2quid so I could complete my album

Happy days

Ipswich Town, November 1968, 0-0.

Can't remember how much, but it was old money.

This will be an unusual answer....because I don't know!

Was early '78/79, against a team wearing blue, and I don't even remember the scoreline. We played Birmingham, Everton, city and Ipswich at home early that season, it was obv one of them, but sadly I don't know which.

What I do know is that I was lifted over the turnstile, so it was therefore my first jib...

My main memory from the first game was waiting for a train at Victoria on the way home with the football pink leaving football scores inside out on my hands. No top red me...
