Default Player ratings for today

Left the pub straight after the game and went into town with the missus so not been able to gage opinion that well tbh. Will be interested to know what you thought of the players...Mine...

VDS - 7 - Did pretty well and couldn't do much about either goal.
Evra - 7 Good work for goal, a tad shaky first half.
Rio - 8 - Never looked that troubled by Adebayor and held us together at times with his calmness.
Vidic - 6 - Less comfortable against Adebayor, not his best display of the season, was ok.
Brown - 7 - Linked well with Ronaldo first half and solid at the back.
Giggs - 6 - Did ok at times, but his magic is waning, no question of that.
Anderson - 8 - Well impressed both defensively and in attack, ball retention was superb. Needs to cut out his 'antics', but cant imagine that'll take long.
Hargreaves - 6.5 - Did alright defensively, but a few poor passes gave them easy possesion.
Ronaldo - 7 - Not his best games by any means, but you'd take a goal and an assist off most players on their off day.
Tevez - 6.5 - Busy/active/confident. Played well without much end product.
Rooney - 7 - Looked a tad frustrated at times covering back on the left, but played quite well and made some good runs.

O'Shea - 5 - A few decent headers, but that one where he jumped over the ball in our box near the end was hopeless.
Saha - 7 - Brought a bit of energy to the side and a stunning reverse ball for the second.
Carrick - 6 - Didn't do too much.

Ferguson - 6.

Tevez needs a little break IMO. Start Saha and Rooney next two games.

Au revoir mon ami!

Team and tactics were spot on today even if Arsenal scabbed a draw.

Pity Rooney's header was wide cus it would've been a peach of a goal.

vds-8 calm and composed as usual

evra-7 great going forward, but should possibly have cleared the ball for the equaliser

vida- 6 as was said above

rio- 7 never really tested

wes 7- solid as a rock, clichy was scared stiff of him, why was he taken off??

ronnie 7- largely in-effective but, a goal and an assist says otherwise

giggs-2 absolute piss

anderson 9 uniteds man of the match in my opinion

harg- 7 done what was needed to be done, no more though

waz- 7, tired as the game went on

tev- 6 not his best performance by all means,

VDS - 6 - Too slow to get across his line for both goals, second goal especially could of been prevented, a decent keeper shouldn't be getting beat at his near post.

was a little disapointed with the way we approached the game should of been more attacking in the 1st half, after the introduction of walchott i think nani should of been brought on to replace giggs, would of kept anderson on as he was causing problems and frustrating arsenal and was the best player on the pitch at times just hope fergie gives him the games now scholes is out.
in all though think it was a fair result taken 4pts now off 2 teams that will be there at end of season at start of season would of taken that

He was in the middle of the goal for the second. The ball had come across the box from Clichy, no one had cleared it and it went all the way to the other side, then Walcott put it all the way across the box again and Gallas scored. Could Edwin really have been at the near post for all 3 moments? He'd have needed to be £#%&!ing superman.

VDS was not a 5/10. That is ludicrous, he barely did a thing wrong.

I wouls of expected him to be yes, admittedly the whole second goal situation was a bit 'keystone cops' but i think VDS had ample time to close the angle for Gallas.

concur - they had many more shots on target than you did - vds dealt with them well, and was not at clear fault for either goal.
