Sounds good, unfortunately this thread has been posted so late and given me hardly any notice and I've already scheduled my evenings viewing so I'm going to miss it.

The sort of program that will never be made about the plastics

Waking up a sleeping giant then dominating for 20 years bagging about 30 trophys and without sugar daddy clubs another 10 honours at least.
Plus all the CO92,can't win anything with kids, the treble etc.etc.

That's what proper football clubs are about

Work early tomorrow should I'll have to watch it on Monday

mourinho saying he didn't want the united job :chinnies:

love how much ronnie loves and respects him. also, why hasn't rio got a role at the club? he's a perfect example of a player who had the talent, could have gone down a different route, but realised he needed to knuckle down in order to be successful - and he was. he'd be perfect as a coach at united.

Did he mention taking a baseball bat into the changing rooms? I hope so, it might seem odd now but that is how it had to be back in the day.

Sleeping giant? United weren't the biggest club in Britain, with the biggest crowds every year, and with a worldwide fanbase when fergie took over?

Indeed we were, hence the giant part. But one would expect a club with such a huge and fanatical following to win a bit more than we were, hence sleeping. That's the beauty of the metaphor.
