Did you know, he's never scored outside the group phase of the CL.

Yes, he will score a goal against us because I said that on the internet. that's exactly how the world works, pure cause and effect that.

Default it will be so like a cup tie

that people may even describe as an actual cup tie.

being a cup tie, zlatan will disappear again.

I'd be more worried if Niall Quinn was coming out of retirement.

No word i've seen, Jonny evans is "on alert" though!

From what they said at the weekend, wasn't O' Shea the bigger doubt? Could be that if rio plays evans will be at right back?

Evans at right back would be fine, in fact it might be preferable if Zlatan decides to drift out wide again to try and get in the game.

By the way, Wayne Rooney actually knows it is a cup tie and i expect him to play as such. Rooney > Zlatan.

There was good news for United this morning ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Internazionale as Rio Ferdinand joined a 23-man Reds squad training at Carrington.

The 30-year-old defensive lynchpin injured his ankle against Fulham in the FA Cup on Saturday, and there had been concerns over his fitness and availability for Wednesday's crunch tie.

But he now appears likely to join Nemanja Vidic, who was suspended for the first leg in Milan, in the heart of United's defence.

John O'Shea was also joined in training. The Irishman has been nursing a heel injury of late and was replaced by Richard Eckersley against Fulham.

There was no Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Zoran Tosic (who is ineligable anyway) or Rafael taking part in the first-team session at United's training headquarters.

The squad in full training at Carrington on Tuesday morning is as follows: Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak; Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Fabio, Evans, O'Shea, Eckersley; Ronaldo, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson, Nani; Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez, Welbeck.
