however, once we knew 4th was gone, intensity dropped (pre-season etc) and we focussed on the final, and we ended up finishing 8th. would 5th have made you happier? i couldn't have cared less tbh

Fantastic player, fantastic mentality. You build teams around the likes of him. Can’t understate how much we’ve missed him. When ETH talks about injuries, you know he’s referring mainly to Martinez. We’d be top four and out of the CL group if he was fit all season.

Idiots in the media thing we have had a few injuries and that’s it. We have had several injuries in the same position . We have had to play 5th/6th choice CBs and a 3rd choice LB

Imagine any other club doing that and let’s see where they finish.

The first time we had our paring and we deservedly beat “the best team in the world” preventing them from playing their way. Kept out haaland and debrunye.
