Of course, but we’re talking about being responsible for looking lethargic, not the enormity of the task at hand.
I expected us to lose today because city are better. I can accept that and it’s simply where we are, but I honestly didn’t expect us to bottle it and to not work hard. That’s the biggest improvement we’ve seen in the last four league games and it so disappointing to all go to shit. That’s nothing to do with fixtures being cancelled. That would account for sharpness, perhaps, but little else. And the problems we saw were all too familiar: passive, timid, buck-passing laziness.
