Default If Mourinho said he would manage Utd on a ten year contract..

BUT only if that meant joining us at the end of the season, with Ferguson retiring to an upstairs role and Quiroz shipped out to Benfica, would you be happy ? Its a yes or no poll. No ifs, buts or maybes.

Definitely yes.

Everyone would love it as well. I remember doing polls about Rooney and before he played for us, you'd be surprised how many thought he was c
crap.

There are plenty on here who used to cheer when Alan Smith scored for us, people are fickle.

I would probably agree under two conditions
1. he plays the united way

aparently you have to complete the poll within 5 minutes of finishing the thread. Am half way through cooking.

Interesting response.

I guess for me the question should have been would out of the two would you rather have as manager: Carlos Q or The Special One.

If he played a different way he's perfect for United. He's made for United. A winner. Look at Chelsea now without him, he just made them complete winners.

I wouldn't mind him being involved but he'd have to work under Fergie for a couple of years, which he won't do.

I actually think he might be a good manager for Ronaldo. I;m not saying Fergie isn't but I reckon he might have more of a word with him when he's off on his superman missions during some games

in light of the non poll aspect I will jot down answers with my notepad and pen and come up a pie chart instead.

I didn't like him at all as an opponent, but surely if he was our manager that would work stongly in our favour. Statistically he'd be a good choice (his record speaks for itself), tactically he'd be a good choice, financially he'd be a good choice (by keeping us on the back pages) and I think he'd be great with the players (especially the Portuguese speakers - just need to sort out the spat with Ronnie). If he was our manager, I am sure he would soon enough get the fans on board, too.

Personally I'd go for Eric, but I am a sentimental old fool. Mourinho would be up there from all the other managers I would have 'this' summer.

As MUFC One LOve said, IF he promised to cut out the 'cagey, hang on to a 1-0, restrict the flair players' mentality I'd want him at Old Trafford without a second thought.
He's a winner, he's a charector, he's a great WUM, he hates Wenger & Benitez etc..

But, I don't think he'd have us playing the 'Manchester United Way' which is important to me.
