looks like they will be playing 3 games a week for the next 2 months. There's a league investigation into the Bury farce, could be a punishment for failing to fulfil a fixture

a punishment for fc? seems a bit unfair if it wasn't their doing.

All depends on talks between them and various councils and how much they need to raise themselves.

Between 2-5 years in the estimate they are working to.

seems a bit of a f*** up all round Jack, apparently Bury did email FC and say they could not put the fixture on but after that FC asked for it to be reconsidered and were told the pitch would be prepared etc. only for Bury to call it off the night before, even though they let a pitch inspection take place on the day of the game and the pitch was passed fit to play. Don't know the league rules but don't expect the league to be sympathetic

Given that the league is run by a bunch of c**ks (now there's a new concept), I'm not holding out much hope.

Bury were quite obviously counting on the ref to get them out of a hole by declaring the pitch unplayable. When he said it was fine they said 'we told you on the 22nd January you couldn't play it'.
A f***-up all round.

can fc not withhold their rent payments, as presumably, bury are in breach of contract? mind you if they did, then bury might not let them play there and they'd be buggered.

there's a year left on the lease agreement, most involved with the club would hope there's way out of it before then (hopefully at end of this season) and a cheaper option can be found
