The Wall is a great album mate, I agree.

John Lennon's Imagine is your next shout from the 1971 album of the same name. A very poignant song, which I first heard when I was 10 in 1980 after he had been killed in New York, and it was big news obviously on the tv....

What's going on in your mind when you hear the words you quoted from the song.....
I seem to have this fantasy that one day the world wont just be a huge media circus that is full of f***wits

this 'find madie' stuff is a perfect example...everyone wants her to be safe yes but stop going on about it

so yeah...im a dreamer...but im NOT the only one

My first game was against Chelsea in 94 (im only 18)

My old man took me (hes a chelsea fan) and we were in J stand

never forget it

My mums fella of 11 years is a red...had a book in united road upper and I used to go when he was ill

One game I remember was when we beat Derby 3-0...dont know what year...Andy Cole scored though

but apart from that I didnt have much chance to get to games as a kid. No one would take me and our family has always been skint but I always said when I got old enough I would go with my own money on my own accord.

Ive been regular now since I was 15, Joining one united and taking any tickets I could get until this season when I got my season ticket for the first time (was one of the best years ever)...Shame I cant afford it and im gonna have to give it up but Im gonna go back on one united and take what I can

Ive made so many friends through united now so getting tickets is a great deal easier

So thats basically my story

Fair play to you for getting what you can - I feel sorry for your generation who are priced out of it big time nowadays....

So, your last 2 tracks are New Order tunes - Turn My Way from the Get Ready album, with Billy Corgan on guitar and vocals, and Vanishing Point from the excellent Technique album from 1989.....

Yeah, Turn my way lyrics are

Quote:
I don't wanna be like other people are
Don't wanna own a key, don't wanna wash my car
Don't wanna have to work like other people do
I want it to be free, I want it to be true

Take my hand
And don't let go
Trust this man
And let it flow

I drank in every bar in town
I filled my cup when I was down
I saw the things I wanted to see
Became the man I wanted to be
But then somehow I lost my way
I've got to get back there today

I don't wanna be like other people are
Don't wanna own a key, don't wanna wash my car
Don't wanna have to work like other people do
I want it to be free, I want it to be true

I don't wanna be like other people are
Don't wanna own a key, don't wanna wash my car
Don't wanna have to work like other people do
I want it to be free, I want it to be true

I don't wanna be like other people are
Don't wanna own a key, don't wanna wash my car
Don't wanna have to work like other people do
I want it to be free, I want it to be true

I don't wanna be like other people are
Don't wanna own a key, Don't wanna wash my car
I lie awake at night, or wait until it's light
I want it to be free, I thought that I was right
in terms of self reflection, that just does it for me

as for vanishing point...words cant describe that song...just listen to it
