For businesses maybe.

I knew some one who ran a company that dealt with monitoring pollution in rivers. The company initials, by which it was always know were PPM. His car reg was H20PPM.

There's a bloke (I think you'll all agree it is almost certainly a bloke) in the company next to ours who has some flashy Japanese Skyline or GTR or something with the reg YC51WON. There is an uncapped black bolt in the middle of the C

I did once see a Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo with the reg TOO510W which I thought was mildly amusing.

If youíre going to get one like BOB1 or something then fine. Itís the twats who try and merge letters to make it loosely resemble a word I fucking hate.

I remember about 25 years ago some bint got a car with J88 ABY and she got it doctored to look like JB BABY (despite being called Karen) and the police pulled her for it.

This is another thing to hate about personalised reg's. Most are unfathomable.

They're for wankers, pure and simple. I see a lot of them in Lytham when I visit my dad, which speaks volumes.

I'm not a petrolhead. It's also quite discrete.
