Default Guacamole and mexican fayre

I never understood the appeal of pureed supermarket GUAC, but have recently been making it fresh.

Wow.

Recipe:
Chopped avocado, tomato and spring onion. Bit of chopped chili. Generous squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of fresh coriander (frozen is fine). Salt and pepper.

Blend it if you like mush.

Haven't had refried beans in years but used to like them. Any recipes?

It's a shame the idiots took the avocado as their own. It's bloody lovely. Homemade guac is the best.

Getting sick of avocados. Either my supply isn't good or it's just starting to taste bland and samey. Used to j'adore it.

Been on the guac-guac myself. And a ocado toast with a variety of toppings. Asparagus and/or parka ham.

feel the little nub where it was attached to the stalk. once it "wiggles" it should be ripe

Will give your recipe a go. Made some humus in my nurtibullet the other week, it was spot on. Now, I know that's not Mexican, but I bet someone, somewhere in Mexico makes their own. And gazpacho
