Tomato and courgette soup.

Fry onions and garlic. Add sliced courgettes and sweat. Add chopped tomatoes, some water to dilute, bring to the boil and simmer for a while. Season to taste. Add chopped basil. Liquidise.

Potato and leek soup

Veg stock
Table spoon of veg oil
1 onion (sliced)
2 leeks (sliced)
4 large spuds (cubed)

Add double cream if you have it in
Simple but tasty

Edit: Didn't see the word "new", throw a load of chilli's in it; job done.

balls to all this homemade soup, itís cheaper to go to the local deli and buy some

I appreciate that economically youíll never be able to live in timperley, but if youíre passing through the soup of the day at heyes lane deli is always lovely and is only £1.20

Butternut squash and scotch bonnet chilli....

Itís firey as f***...

Carrots and white onion to bulk, obvious stock...

Very delicate line between edible and basically hot sauce..get it spot on and winter is done.....crusty bread for dipping.
