He never came back for set pieces at Everton. Ideal player to leave up top, big & quick. Scored a lot of goals for them steamrolling last defender from long hoof up field .

Been a bigger threat to our goal than the opposition recently.

Directly responsible for three goals and nearly an own goal at Arsenal

£#%&!ing cliche ; “forwards make shit defenders”. Even more so, when they’re not really needed and would be more productive receiving the ball when it’s hoofed out, ffs and we wonder why it keeps coming back for shit@#%&!s in defence to £#%&! up or ven worse, your striker to £#%&! up.

One of the best defenders of set pieces was Drogba, loved a near post clearing header.. wonder who’s idea it was to put him there...

Selective memory as always with Dunk.

RvP was always defending corners at the near post and was very good at it.

But nah, this is a new wave Mourinho thing ffs

He was, just saying Drogba was one of the best and Mourinho put him there, hence trying to do the same with Lukaku.

Shearer was £#%&!ing good at it too.

Typical clarkie, just thick as mince.

Yep. Lukaku has scored as many league goals by the end of January as Drogba did in his entire first season at Chelsea

They're both tall?

(which influenced the manager's thinking here, one suspects)
