Got an MA.
Had a great holiday.
Coaching the smallest team in the area how to play a tough brand of rugby.

Bad:
Divorce.
The amount of money *****ed.
Being separated from my youngest for long periods

Good:

Finally moved house, bought a decent sized derelict bedsit/squat that we’re doing up.

Eldest getting quite good at football and cricket despite ‘health’ issues (see below)

Nan is still with us and healthy. She’s 96 you know.

Bad

Both kids have issues that worsened this year. They’re 5 and 8 and both have tic disorders. Hopefully they’ll grow out of them but it’ll get worse before it gets better. One has behavioural issues that we’re waiting for an assesment on, the other has acute anxiety that means he’ll have to have counselling next year.

Doing up a derelict bedsit/squat. What a f***ing pain in the arse.

1 Two great trips to California culminating in singing Lust For Life on an aircraft carrier in San Diego
2 Negotiated a four day week
3 Kids doing really well in work and art school respectively

Bad

1 Mother-in-law taken ill in the summer and finally popping her clogs last week
2 State of the nation
3 ever-expanding waistline

Dad is very poorly, has almaloids ( I hadn't heard of it either)
