Coming up to 12 months since I made that comparison. Laughed at by some - won't name them - but the evidence is laid for all to see now.

Individual quality is improving too which is very good to see. Now he is in the middle and can dovetail with the other forwards rather than when he played mostly on the wing where the space is more closed off.

totally forgot he started that game. i think that was the only game he played for us that season.

If he has done nothing else at United, JM has improved Lingard hugely.

He has improved & if the failure of Rashford to improve is blamed totally on Jose then its only fair that the improvement of jesse be accredited to Jose .
Probable truth is neither of these are true.

Still disappointed with his name on the team sheet Iím afraid. Has to do a lot more consistently to lose his lowly status.
