My nearest was the local British Legion, closed down a few years ago. Mainly go to pubs for quiz nights these days.

Would bloody love a good quiz night in a friendly boozer with an open fire.
Busty barmaid? Sure, why not.

Had same local for 15 years, Morning Star. Landlord died and it went to shit.

Unicorn on Bolton Road now andit's decent. No dickheads and pretty chilled. Dear for Radcliffe though. 3.60 for pint Heineken

I only go out of habit/10

Guaranteed at least one of my mates will be in there if itís open.
The football is always on and they feed you gratis (hot pot, sausage sandwiches)
ATs are at the clienteleís discretion
Drugs freely available from a number of suppliers If thatís your thing (it seems to be everyoneís thing)
Darts killer is played (but so is that f***ing card game with the pin board)
Coked up card games are not conducive to a quiet pint and decent conversation
Some of the women have a full set of teeth
Thereís a pub dog wandering about looking for cuddles
Get to ogle my mates Mrs and her massive tatas
Despite the constant undercurrent of violence it doesnít kick off that often (but whenit does itís spectacular)
Canít have a shit in the menís as thereís never any soap or bog roll (but the ladies is available for a number poo), or thereís strange goings on in the cubicle (someone with a heavy cold must be using all the toilet roll)

Name it Irkles. Donít be ashamed if itís somewhere ghastly. My local in Northenden has empty Quality Street tins for an ashtray.
