Question Winter days out

Any decent wintery days out or Christmas markets or anything going on in the North at the moment? Thinking of taking the brood on Saturday since its an international break.

Don't want a fully outdoors day in this weather. Could do Tatton.

We usually do a trip to Bents aswell at this time of year. Anyone been lately?

Swerved.

Chester is ok, similar stalls but quieter. Easier on the train for me too.

Going to Whitby on Saturday. Fish and Chips, few beers, nice walk, arcades....might make the short trip to Botton whilst I'm there

Which ice cream farm? The good one or the shit one?

Marbury is always nice, I love telling my kids about the ghost.

We went to the Reindeer lodge thing last year near Cheshire Oaks. I thought it was crap but the kids seemed to enjoy it a lot. It was very busy.

Parkgate has a great view of the peninsula, good for an oddball walk and has this place which makes it's own cakes, can't recommend it enough:

Might be a schlep, but Yorkshire Sculpture Park is amazing in winter (and all year round)
