Default Oysters

Any fans? Developed a serious relationship with them recently, local fish mongers in Lytham sells them, being buying them by the dozen on a Saturday. Bit of horseradish and Tabasco sauce, delicious. If you've never had them, give them a whirl, just a bit of a pain to open. Champagne socialist reds.

They need a good champagne or a crisp Chablis as an accompaniment, but yes, I do like a good oyster... and they are relatively inexpensive in the supermarkets

I used to love them when I was the heartless evil spawn of the devil like you, but let's be honest... it's the sauces that are nice. dunk some nice garlic bread in the sauce and you'll enjoy it just as much. not just horseradish and tobasco, obvs, but that's no way to eat them anyway.

Nice. Even better in a home made beef & oyster pie.

I like them plain as well. The liquor is delicious. If it wasn't me eating them it would be an octopus crushing and eating them. The circle of life.

Love them. Adore them. Shallot vinegar, Tabasco. Give em a good chew rather than just letting them slip down. That seems pointless.
