Not a fan of the art of the free solo keithers?

Not at all - been fascinated with him for years - think he's incredible - has an unbelievable ability to control emotion and has absolute focus. Is the best climber of all time. Seems a really nice bloke too.

But what's he's doing is incredibly dangerous well beyond the point of it being ridiculous. It's pure self indulgence - sporting suicide - his mum and dad must brick themselves every time the phone rings.

Spent two weeks in Leh Ladakh in the Indian Himalayas, couldn't recommend it enough (not including the drive through Kashmir with a Sikh lad telling everyone his dad was an Indian army general).

Walking up stairs would leave you light headed and managed 45 mins at the top of Khardung La (18,000 ft) before headache kicked in. We opted to drive for the duration of the trip to see more, hiking would have been a breeze with a sherpa/time to acclimatise, hardest part of the trip was the lack of a proper shower
