Which leads to the question; is it better to set up a pc and have this lad locked in his room 24/7

Or

Handing your kid at the same age, a 2l bottle of vodka and sending him out on a Friday night. Alone iirc

So I've done a couple of hours research and I am now nearly an expert.

These AMD Ryzen CPUs have built in coolers, so presume I don't need to bother with a more expensive cooler?

REDACTED - SORTED

Quote:
AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock - AB350M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Hitachi - Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Palit - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB StormX Video Card
Chipset: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Corsair - Carbide SPEC-04 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power
Final question, sound cards. Do I need one?

That spec comes in at 553.

2nd question, which is probably very stupid, but do you need to get usb ports separately, or will any of these parts include them? guessing not. But can't find anything under other peripherals.

f***in rolling in it this lad.

yeah mate, coolers are a must. I'll send you a link to a great keyboard cooler. looks like a handheld fan. But it's special for keyboards. on sale now for 300

Cheers. Partpicker says its all compatible.

The SSD prices are steep for 2TB. Adding a 250gb Samsung adds another 86 on top. Would that make his current game work better?
