Default Internet/TV Providers - Sky v Virgin

Thinking of binning Virgin off and going back to Sky so I can get a Sky Q box

Anyone on Sky Fibre, will it stand up to constant streaming, kids on ipads/playstation at the same time?

I love Virgin's internet but the TV is shocking and I refuse to pay for Sky TV and Virgin internet separately

Got sky Q for Tv and Virgin for internet....

16 for sky
30 for Virgin (200mb)

Sky's internet is inadequate...they can dress it up however they like, but it's not good enough for a modern family.

That was my concern.
Is that basic sky for 16? My TV in the new room/kitchen doesnt have a TV feed so I am watching via streams (which is not a major issue). Sky offer a wireless mini Sky Q box which would have been perfect but the internet sounds shite

Do you still get a dish with sky? Is it still satellite technology rather than through the internet pipes?

I was offered a 75% discount to go back to them in June, it has now expired but will give it a go again

Yeah, I get everything in HD for 30 on one of those offers so not bad tbh. Sky Fibre unlimited aswell for a tenner which is easy quick enough for me and 1 flatmate to use.

No complaints at all towards Sky. Couldn't not have it, their menu/catch up tv/series linking/rewind and all the other little bits and bobs have become a must have.
