Liberty shop was open in August. Had a look round when I was getting some shorts for the holiday. Got an email last week from 'Pines and Needles' asking if I wanted 'the usual'. It's happening.

Ahhhh, it simply got to be Andrew.

As soon as the nights start closing in I get the slightest chrimbalance strirrings growing in my chest. Most welcome after that utter wet turd of a summer.

Ah, yes, the curtains are drawn, the fire is on and begin to picture myself sipping bourbon eating mince pies.

I'm going full retard on it this year. Sing it Andy.

Nope.

Note from school this week, carols on 28th November.

What the f***ing f*** is wrong with these people? Trees, decorations, Christmas cheer, tunes, mince pies etc are all OK from 1st December onwards. Anything else is just wrong.

FACT.

Even as a kid Christmas wasn't even a consideration before bonfire night.

Not having the "Grinch" thing as it's clearly the best time of the year but it has its time (Dec 1-27).

Decorations/lights allowed up from Dec 1 (always Dec 1) & 100% Xmas tunes from then on (Dec 1 really being peak Xmas vibes).

Obviously stays up for the 10 days after the event but in truth crimbo tunes are banned after 25th and more than sick of the sight of the shite by then.. Feel for tinsel. Dec 24 it's magical and Dec 27 "you can do one".

World's gone mad.
