Basel were awful

He's lucky to have a brilliant manager

If he gets the ball I expect him to lose it

Decent option if we are lumping it forward. Can you imagine him in midfield against Barcelona in 2009... (insert joke about who we did have playing but f***ing hell)

Well, that's the match where (by common consent) we badly missed Fletcher. Wouldn't be much stranger than that tbh.

Possibly even better than John O'Shea.

Yes that match and Fletcher was infinitly better. Maybe not at heading...

Nope

Did well tonight but scrappy matches like tonight are were he shines

Personally i like midfielders who are good on the ball

If you want to see attractive fluid attacking football then you'll never get that with Fellaini on the pitch

At first he was shit, had no confidence and was ineffective.

Now he's shit, confident and quite effective.

An effective weapon in the armoury. The trebuchet to mkhitaryan's dragon glass dagger.

Can't wait for the day we have him, ibra, Lukaku, Pogba and Matic on the pitch when chasing a goal

He did (relatively) well on the ball tonight. Even threw in a cheeky back heel.

One of the greats. Adds that extra dimension. Revels as the anti hero.
