Default If you're going to Stoke tomorrow

If you see anyone collecting for the local hospice (Douglas MacMillan) before or after the game, please chuck 'em a few quid.
I know it won't be your local hospice, but it's still a very worthy cause.

Partially funded (approx. a third of the annual running costs) by the NHS, but yes it should be all Govt funded.
Never will be, even under any kind of a Labour Govt tho.

You should offer your local hospice your services as a volunteer.

It never will be whilst charitable donations pour in

Take them away, and it may force the issue

In this case, no it won't. The Day Therapy services will disappear, the community nursing will be forced into already over-burdened District Nurses & End Of Life care will fall to the NHS to undertake.

And we all know just how much extra funding the NHS will get for that.

I know, I'm just being an idealistic dreamer

Let's just carry on rattling tins for donations to help sick and dying people whilst our taxes pay prince georges private school fees

You're preaching to the choir mate. I agree totally with you in this.
And you know my feelings in the Monarchy too.
But sadly the bastards have left us little choice.
