it's easy. quorn is way nicer than chicken, given your observations above. linda mccartney and sainsbury's do veggie substitutes for all kinds of sausages and pies. the only thing you'll miss is seafood. there is really no excuse for eating meat. vegan is a bit harder. life without milk and cheez? can't. should, though. the rest of the gang are ok with almond milk, etc. not I.

also.... grilled halloumi. su-weet.

I could (and would) never give up meat. It's tasty and nutritious. And is the centre piece of most of my meals. Last week i had steakx2, gammon, lamb, chicken, bacon.

If god wanted us to eat quorn he'd have given it legs so it had a sporting chance. and flavour. He would have had george clooney advertise it too. Not that charisma vacuum giggs who probably just tried to stick his dick in it the dirty boy.

Without condiments, spices and dairy: meat is quite bland (Quorn just more so).

As nice as vegi supermarket meals are, I demand 100% freshly prepared fayre - so I'll have to learn how to make faux suet pastry and whatnot. Suppose I'll end up starting my own range. Cream Pies. Delicious.

I'm considering keeping fish in the diet but two things worry me: polluted seas and the fact the poor blighters are dragged out of their natural environment to slowly drown in our air. Don't want to be sat all smug in a restaurant,
'oh, no meat for me thank you, Ambassador, but you go ahead...'
only to be exposed as a vicious fish fancier when the salmon en croute arrives.

Vegan? Insane.

You can have a proper single mum dinner

Quorn fish fingers (the same as Captain Birdseye without the smell of death)
Chips
Peas
White Sliced Bread

Looks alright as an accompaniment to some nice chops.

There's no way a vegetarian can muster sufficient strength to lift that pot off the hob. Probably enlisted the help of the mrs and kids.
