Default Win 10 upgrade is still free

Not an illegal hack or anything, just seems that MS haven't shut down this method.
I tested it today - upgraded a Win 8 machine to Win 8.1 then used the method from the link below to upgrade to Win 10.

Windows is reporting that is an activated, legal copy.

Customers who use assistive technologies can also upgrade for free here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/acce...FXNhiu3o52rA)()

It's just an EXE you can download and run on your machine.

They don't ask you to prove that you need assistive technologies.

The installation for USB flash is 5GB. It boots from the flash, loads the disk and network drivers then contacts the MS site to download the OS installation. You can also use the 5GB flash to repair a corrupt installation

im a spaz when it comes to stuff like this. im still running on vista whatever from years ago. how easy is it to swap over from one to the next?

i got an email from Firefox to say they won't be supporting my current browser from september onwards, which may give an indication to how out of date my laptop is.
