I loved them. Great pop band. Shouldn't have reformed.

Am absolutely positive that's what I heard in an interview a while back, but can't recall which one. Definitely not something I've pulled out the air, bud.

Na. It was on the ISle of Jura in a boathouse and not on stage.

They did intend to tour with the money as a piece of art in itself - but no one would insure it. So they chose to burn it instead.

I'll take your word on it (was clearly wrong about the on stage bit), but would've put money on one of them saying they 'thought it was insured'. Either way, what a f***ing waste of money. Funny, yes, but why not have given it to the homeless and needy.
