Went to mine yesterday morning, it was lovely and quiet. It's city centre though, so normally full of students/workers etc. It's gonna be f***ing rammed in January.

It's such a weird dynamic.

Same place, same equipment, same you. Just an arbitrary point in the calendar and it's like night and day.

Have invested in almost all I need for the gaf. Cannot stand the gym.

It's hard enough sometimes to motivate yourself without having to wait for an eliptical machine or watch lads with big bellies think they're great because they can do dumbell curls.

Nah. in fact I probably look for a distraction like putting the news on or a non United match etc.

I tend to do specific time based exercises anyway. So you kind of have to stick to the schedule.

Just been for a run. Went a couple of times just before Christmas but I had slacked off and having eaten rubbish and drank more over Christmas I was blowing out of my arse.

I f***ing despise gyms, of which I have tried many, but there is a new one opening up literally 5 minutes from my house and in between here and the office so it would be rude not to.... 50% off lifetime membership because I got the early bird offer...

I'll be astonished if I make it past the first month. They just seem to be inhabited by dickheads, and the January rush doesn't help.

If it has a decent free weights/olympic platforms then that will be a decent enough reason to stay as I don't have room for the gear in my current gaff.
