Anyway, are they any good? Have done a little reasearch and they sound like a big Siri/I pod for your kitchen?
If you don't see the exact same thread isn't on the front page of main just start a thread. Check with your eyes not the search engine.

re the echo:

they should be paying you to have it in your home imo

Try, if you are able, to think of it as news on demand...

...it also plays the radio in real time if you so desire.

I know the person in charge of everything Echo related.

He's a complete twat.

He earns a million a year developing what is basically a Bluetooth speaker and fart machine in my household. Other people I know also use it as a kitchen timer.

A million dollars each year. Kitchen timer.

Where did I go wrong with my life?

Ok cheers chief

I'm thinking of getting the mrs one. Think she'll use the radio feature and the reminder app thing but wondering what else it does before spending out 150.

It's either that or tickets to Robbie Williams in June... I'd have to go to that with her so I'm leaning towards the echo at the moment.

At the same time? Not sure my ears could cope pol.

Normally I have Sky News channel on for constant "news on demand" or the radio for music in "real time"

Plays "news on Demand" like Sky 24 does

You can set it up via an app to read you the news in the morning etc.

Loads more too - but only really works in America. We get the shit version.
