He was upset about losing and is also in the middle of a feud with the AFA. Let's wait a day or two and hear what he has to say then.

Bah, he is just doing it to play with Cristiano's mind, Ronnie will be feral for the rest of the Euros with the possibility of upstaging Messi dominating his mind.

In another possibility he just could not face playing with Rojo for one minute more.

No great loss. Are we just of an era where individual genius' (genie-i? geniuses?) genies?) can't influence the international game enough to win trophies? Messi and Ronaldo, apparently the 2 greatest players by some distance of the last decade and not a single noteworthy tournament win between them....
