Memphis will be fine long term, he's just had a shit time this year, don't think anyone argued with his signing at the time.

Martial has played from the left for the majority of his career.

Schneiderlin is the biggest let down. Not the first to wilt under the spot light at United tbf.

Genuinely thought he'd be great. Especially given lvg had worked with him

He might be fine, but lvg doesn't seem to have a lot of faith in him. He's featuring less and less as the season goes on and his omission yesterday was a hammer blow to him. He might come good, but if we're judging it on the here and now, it's another very underwhelming signing.

Another problem is a lot of these lads start well enough and then trail off the more lvg gets his teeth into them. Darmian, schniederlen and depay were all better when they first arrived.

Martial has been great from the left, but was that lvg's intention to play him there? If yes, then why sign him and depay. If not, then it's a reflection of how poor depay has been.
