Another bloke who's won £#%&! all, great.

A bloke who's done okay with hardworking sides in mid/top table.

El Moysie.

well if the club do not want Mourinho, then I'd rather have this bloke in charge instead of Giggs....

No doubt his already excellent track record of developing young English players at both Spurs and Soton has caught the eye. By far the most impressive part of his career so far, given that he arrived unable to speak the language and with no experience of English football.

Suggests a very bright and intuitive coach. Would be a gamble, but an exciting one.

Basically, unless Sparky gets Mourinho next, he's going to be intolerable

Already is anyways.
Obviously work will need to be done if he does get the job, how patient will certain fans be if we're not amazing right away? Probably a month.

Sadly, that's what we are and as long as he finishes 4th, they're happy with that.

This. Hasn't done anywhere near enough yet.

Promising manager, but let's not get over excited. Nobody had heard of the £#%&!er two years ago.

Yes, that World Cup playing Argentine international defender who was managing in La Liga in his 30s was a complete nobody

Tbh I agree that he needs more experience at Spurs. Would be a huge ask for him to take United now.

I'd have expected half of the forum to have no idea who he managed in la liga.

Maybe I'm being a little unfair on him, but he'd be a huge gamble. I'd rather we reduced the risk of a gamble as much as possible.

I really can't see anyone other than Giggs. He was always the plan and they seem far too stubborn to look elsewhere. I think they're determined to see it through regardless of the consequences.

Which could easily be Giggsy being dumped having lasted about as long as Gollum, with us in the bottom half of the table. I'm sure Scholesy would have a good explanation, though

Big gamble but he does seem to have something about him.

Maybe.

If he turned out to be any good at United, he'd £#%&! off to Madrid or barca at the first opportunity. Meanwhile, one of the world's best managers for the past 15 years is gagging for the job.
