Journalists inserting words in brackets when quoting people assuming we are too stupid to work it out ourselves. Also add [sic] in a quote. Of course it was said in context, why else would it be said and then you report on it in context to your shitty article.

Bunch of absolute bust the bunkers.

Really basic grammatical errors. Especially in formal communication.

"Your instead of you're"
"Of instead of have"
"S instead of s'"

If you do any of the above your a massive cunt have the highest order.

I always thought that meant 'spelling is correct'

it's 'sic erat scriptum' - thus was it written

it's to point out when is written incorrectly and not a journalistic mistake.

a note saying

"gib me the money"

would be

"gib(sic) me the money" when reported
