that was a very good day out .

79 final is my first real memory , watched at me nans in the back room . My grandad operating the remote control (his walking stick ) .

Me nan said "oh Gordon what are you doing about 10 seconds before he scored "

I like to think I've carried on that tradition

That goal in the 99 semi. Well, both goals, Beckham's very much overlooked.
The replay in 83; I was 9 and allowed to stay up late.

The 1990 fa cup run was my favourite . I bought ' the road to Wembley ' vhs and played it to death .
The only final i managed to get to was 2007 :shakehead:

1963 semi v Southampton (Villa Park). Law 1-0 United. I went on the pitch at the final whistle - 2 giant blokes (Foulkes and Cantwell) hugging each other such was their delight at reaching Wembley. I got myself a pat on the head off one of em.
